GENERAL:

Penmaenau Bars Limited respects the right to privacy of every individual who visits our website and any venue that is controlled by Penmaenau Bars Limited. This Privacy Policy explains how we use any personal information we collect about you and your rights to access and correct the personal information we hold about you.

WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT AND HOW WILL WE USE IT:

When you contact us using the "Contact Us" form on the website, we collect your email address and any other information you may provide. This information is used by us to respond to your email, our emails are supplied by 5c Services which are a reseller of the hosted service. Our reseller are fully compliant with recent GDPR guidelines, policy available on request.

When you visit the website we don’t log the IP address of the machine you use to access our website and we don’t use any type of cookies.

We use closed circuit television (CCTV) images to provide a safe and secure environment for employees and for visitors to the Company’s business premises, such as clients, customers, contractors and suppliers, and to protect the Company’s property.

Our separate CCTV policy sets out the use and management of the CCTV equipment and images in compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the CCTV Code of Practice.

The Company’s CCTV facility records images only. There is no audio recording i.e. conversations are not recorded on CCTV.

As the recording system records digital images, any CCTV images that are held on the CCTV server which are deleted and overwritten on a recycling basis and, in any event, are not held for more than 28 days.

We will only use CCTV for the bellow reasons:

  • To assist in the prevention or detection of crime or equivalent malpractice.

  • To assist in the identification and prosecution of offenders.

  • To monitor the security of the Company’s business premises.

  • To ensure that health and safety rules and Company procedures are being complied with.

  • To assist with the identification of unauthorised actions or unsafe working practices that might result in disciplinary proceedings being instituted against employees and to assist in providing relevant evidence.

  • To promote productivity and efficiency.

THIRD PARTIES:

We may disclose any of your personal information to any third party where we are under a duty to do so in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or protect any of our rights, property or safety (or those of our customers).

If personal information is processed on our behalf by third parties, we will ensure that they keep your information secure.


SECURITY:

Penmaenau Bars Limited takes the security of any personal information we hold very seriously. Our website doesn’t record any personal information, this will be monitored and this policy will be updated if any changes are needed.


HOW TO COMPLAIN:

We hope that our Data Protection Officer can resolve any query or concern you may raise about our use of your information.

The General Data Protection Regulation also gives you right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the European Union (or European Economic Are) state where you work, normally live or where any alleged infringement of data protection laws occurred. ACCESS TO AND AMENDING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION:

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and The Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA) you have a number of rights with regards to your personal data. You have the right to request from us access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data, the right to restrict processing, object to processing as well as in certain circumstances the right to data portability. Any requests may be subject to a fee of £10.
